About

I’m not sure what to say about myself that the site’s content and design don’t already hint at. I following the threads of creativity, connection, and healing — through music, writing, design, and whatever else feels necessary.

My name is Sabin. I grew up in rural Vermont, and I’ve spent most of my life trying to make sense of things that didn’t add up, reacting to the world entangled somewhere between a poet and a systems thinker, a survivor and a signal-seeker.

As a child, I was ritually and nightly hypnotized. And whether by that or some deeper inheritance, I woke up as an adult feeling like a puppet in someone else’s morality play. What followed was a long descent: into dissociation, confusion, shame, and eventually, into art. Music and writing were never hobbies. They were escape hatches that became bolted shut, and now they’ve became tools for re-entry.

I’ve studied systems and Gaia. Sat with Shipibo shamans. Written songs through tears and have found myself tracing sacred geometry across whiteboards in corporate boardrooms meant for finances. I’ve forgotten who I was more often than not, and I’m learning to remember without turning away. I’m not interested in being polished. I’m interested in being real.

I do many things: multi-instrumentalist, composer, designer, co-op strategist. Once an education/systems/philosophy student, now a wanderer of archetypes. I design maps to travel — emotional, conceptual, sonic. Sometimes I sing. Sometimes I code. Sometimes I cry and remember that being alive is still the point.

I live on unceded Abenaki land in a small town in North-Central Vermont with two grocery stores and more stories than sidewalks. I’m raising a daughter with a loving partner who holds my soul with both fierceness and softness. We are slowly building something beautiful here.

This site is part archive, part sketchbook, part transmission. I’m still figuring it out, and maybe that’s the point. I'm always seeking like-minded folks to talk, jam, and create with. If that catches your heart, please reach out.
