The first channeled song on the album, I recorded this as an a cappella melody and lyrics as one. I went in afterwards to get the key and time signatures and create an arrangement for what I had recorded, recording and arranging the guitar and organ on the fly.

Ayahuasca has a surface sheen and color of strong coffee, and can easily be mistaken for an espresso in the wrong context. I’ve also read that Coffee and Chacruna — one of the ingredients for Ayahuasca — are from the same family: Rubiaceae.
